Has held progressively responsible positions in the fields of social development project design, financing and administration, mostly in Asia. Led a team of 220 staff members for six years responsible for the UNICEF Country Programme in Bangladesh, with an annual throughput of US$40 million.

World Bank-UNICEF collaboration project:UNICEF Indonesia with an US$108 million 5-year country program.
Director of the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN),
a newly founded public-private partnership based in Geneva, Switzerland.
Acts as pro bono adviser to the Nonviolent Peaceforce.
