PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT
What future structures must be created to overcome humankind's terrible history of wars and the perilous situation resulting from the present environmental crisis?
The Global Cooperation Project (GCP) is a non-profit educational organization.
Goals
 | principally, to help foster the birth of a new paradigm for world relations to operate within the "prior unity" underlying all existence. |
  | to enable the crucial
shift in consciousness this entails through a wide array of educational initiatives
and events,
and through the creation of The Global Cooperative Forum. |
  | to ensure adequate funding of The Global Cooperative Forum via a development program including grant writing. |
  | to enable global networking via an interactive websiteand further 'Web 2' initiatives. |
Strategies
GCP is in the process of convening a high-level group of leading minds and influential individuals for The Global Cooperative Forum, individuals with skills in organization, negotiation, intervention, and different languages and with the ability to move within different cultures.
| 1. | The Global Cooperative Forum will work in partnership with other like-minded organizations as an inclusive vehicle for bringing together concerned people of all nations, races, and economic backgrounds. |
2. | The Global Cooperative Forum will position itself to build bridges of inter-cultural and inter-religious understanding, dialogue and cooperation, to overcome, wherever possible, the social, economic, cultural and religious dynamics that increase the risk of wars and environmental degradation. |
3. | The Global Cooperative Forum will research and identify new ways in which cooperation among countries and their leaders can be promoted most effectively, taking into account the challenges to these endeavors. |
