Chair of the Board
Development economist and international civil servant in FAO/UNDP, World Bank and UNICEF. Has held progressively responsible positions in the fields of social development project design, financing and administration, mostly in Asia. Led a team of 220 staff members for six years responsible for the UNICEF Country Programme in Bangladesh, with an annual throughput of US$40 million.
Assignments:
World Bank-UNICEF collaboration project:UNICEF Indonesia with an US$108 million 5-year country program.
Director of the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN), a newly founded public-private partnership based in Geneva, Switzerland.
Acts as pro bono adviser to the Nonviolent Peaceforce.
Born in The Netherlands, based outside Geneva in Achieve, France.

Has worked with AGATE, alliance between NASA and the US aviation industry; consultant to the board, National Environmental Education Program "Animal Tracks"; event planner and promotion director: The University of Washington School of Law, Continuing Legal Education Seminar, San Francisco; director for non-profit international membership composed of individuals from diverse religious backgrounds and indigenous cultures.

Presently independent consultant in New York and in the process of launching a weekly news magazine in Russia and a U.S. based Russian economic magazine. Also engaged in the development of a circulation model for a Beijing based publisher.
Featured speaker at The Women in Journalism conference in Budapest, Hungary, is a plan evaluator at the Columbia University Publishing Course, and taught The Business of Magazine Publishing at University of California, Berkeley Extension.

Leading Artificial Intelligence researcher and web technology innovator ("Win-Win Ware"). 2002 NRCC National Leadership Award winner. Assistant professor of Computer Science at Rutgers University (1984-1994). Editor of the book series, "Artificial Intelligence in Engineering Design". Investigator for DARPA and NSF research grants (US $8 million). 1990 CSGSS Award for Graduate Teaching Excellence winner. Project manager for KBSDE, one of the world's first "knowledge compilers". Developer of a breakthrough algorithm for determining the stability of dynamical systems (used in diverse applications including: helping countries meet their Kyoto Protocol goals in an economically feasible manner; and improving health care, medicine, and education).
